I am 77 years old and this is my 9th year as a prostate cancer survivor. I spent the first 55 years of my life on the east coast and now live in Colorado. My love of photography came out of a difficulty expressing myself in words. I vividly remember how I felt watching my photos in the developer come alive. My pictures became my words. Here I am forty some years later minus the darkroom/film, but embracing the new horizons of the digital world.
“The last few years I have been drawn to the visual potential of abstraction, because it allows us to recapture our awe and wonder. It forces us to peel away our fixed ideas and rules. I look for the small, unnoticed details and bring them out from under the microscope.”
All the images in my portfolio are printed on Hahnemuhle Fine Art Paper.
